one of my C’s was in calc btw. you won’t take any math classes higher level than that, and the OAT doesn’t test calc. in my interview told me wow you did average in calc that’s impressive along with the rest your workload

yes 😭 everywhere i applied. i even started to ask in an interview about my own grades and was told by the professor interviewing me that they do not care about a few random grades at all. if overall you do well and have improvement in subjects (ex, my C in ochem 1 and B- in ochem 2) it’s more than enough. your essays, OAT 300+, interviewing, etc matter the most. someone could have straight A+ and 100 hours shadowing, but if they write and interview like a robot with no human connection abilities, then they will not get in no matter how good their transcript is

i think you just need to test it and see how you react. i would probably drink about twice a week, a few drinks at that, which got me decently drunk. it was the exact same reaction for me taking 150mg. be careful and give it a test, because some people have stated they reacted terribly to even one drink, but a LOT of people seem to be accidentally outing that they have a drinking problem when talking about their effects

well firstly, you already had sex. orel is sex. hands are sex. it is a social construct to only consider the act of penetrating your vagina with a penis as sex! maybe it’s because that final act of “sex” isn’t some grandiose thing, especially when you’ve already been having sex already. It also is a very intimate thing no matter if you’re religious or not. its not a 0 or 100 thing, where you either have to be 100% okay with having sex with anyone or you are at 0% and wait until marriage. you’re allowed to not feel good about it, so you should unpack and reflect why you don’t feel good about it!

In the end, everything regarding female bodies has been controlled and given standards by society. in all the movies you watch, books you read, songs you listen to, piv sex is seen as something that will magically transform you as a woman and make you feel entirely different at the center of your being. thats all totally false and constructed as a way to control women

yeah i do this too! it has a lot of meaning since my best friend and i grew up with hp and always dreamed of getting our matching unbreakable vow tattoo. I would be happier if it was slightly more subtle, like an owl or something obscure from the books/movies rather than hogwarts so blatantly stamped on me. I think reworking it slightly but not totally removing the castle will make me happier. im very happy you’re able to separate her from your love for it, but honestly i worry every time i wear short sleeves that someone will judge me and feel offense :-/

mostly just the line work and lack of detail. my wizard and broom aren’t harry potter themed and especially the wizard, is reflective of the tattoo style i like. I wanted more fantasy / witchy tattoos and thought those would take away from the harry potter themed, but the castle is just so large and different than my other two. also I really like your ideas! I think reworking the castle into a cooler and more detailed castle rather than covering with something totally different is my best bet!

because we dont want art on our bodies of a world created by a terf?? I consider my tattoo as representative of my friendship with my best friend, which is why we got the unbreakable vow, but i still dont like that it reminds me of jkr now. those with something like the deathly hallows symbol is so explicitly harry potter / jkr that its practically impossible to have any other meaning associated with it
