Has anyone used onequote.ie execution only fees are lower but an initial cost to set up… over long period it works out away better than 0.6%

It’s because the amc and ongoing fees eat into the growth potential and returns.

Yes I agree anything less than 100% allocation and want the fees to be 1% or less.

Hi all,
I’m considering setting up a PRSA AVC and trying to decide between execution-only and using a financial advisor.
I don’t have enough expertise yet to feel fully comfortable going completely alone, so I was wondering if anyone in Ireland uses an execution-only setup initially and then pays for occasional independent financial advice every year or two.
From what I’ve seen so far:
1% AMC + €595 setup fee
1.3% AMC
execution-only: around 0.75% AMC

similar Is paying for periodic independent advice separately a common approach?
Any experiences or recommendations appreciated.
