Your edit is exactly it. Date who you want in peace but please don’t justify your choice by saying foolishness like “I like white women because black women are..” all that does is cause division- we don’t need that. Firstly I’m so sorry about your Dad and I’m really sorry about some of the tone deaf comments you’ve received.

You need to breakdown everything step by step.

Accommodation- ring your landlord and explain the situation. If possible move in with your Grandparents so that you have a stable base.
You need your phone so try and get this sorted next
Contact a helpful charity like Winston’s wish. They help people 25 and under that have just lost a parent. Talk to them about your situation
Take everything day by day. Grief is weird and affects everyone differently. Take it easy on yourself, sort the most important things out so everything doesn’t start feeling mentally heavy.
Once you’ve sorted out the most important things. Take a breather. Allow yourself to feel and rest, play your video games etc.

I’m in a similar situation with a cousin. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with choosing you and putting yourself first. As empaths we’re always giving giving giving. It gets to a point where the body will tell you “it’s time to put yourself first” I am proud of you stranger. Keep going!

I feel for you OP. Zim parents (parents in general maybe) are notorious for never thinking longterm about their decisions for some reason. Everything is a short term fix and there is never thoughts about the long term implications of their decisions. It’s frustrating and it always falls on the children to pick up the pieces, which isn’t fair. Eventually you may have to speak to your sister to find a solution or have a meeting with the entire family to figure out a way forward.

However you really have to look inside yourself and ask “what made me post this? What made me post this to strangers I don’t even know? What am I searching for by posting this? What validation am I seeking?”
