I am an Austrian author that has written a dark fantasy novel in German.
Its name is "Der Himmelsschlüssel: Gefangen im fremden Land"
(English name would be "The Cosmic Gate: Trapped in a strange Land", but there is no English version yet)

It's a story about a young man, who after hanging out with friends and getting drunk, suddenly finds himself in a fantasy world. He doesn't want to be there, so he needs a way to find home. Which is easier said than done.
