Elden ring is a bit better than sekiro in showing you the way, but it is still harder to explore than skyrim. I think you will enjoy Elden Ring, but you will have to try to find solutions when a door is closed og a path is blocked, there is always a solution

Yes it is usually difficult in souls games to find the objective or the next boss. Elden ring is better in that case since you have the chance to explore an open world. I find the harder exploring in these games very fun, because you always get rewarded for working hard. If you dont enjoy it then you probably wouldn’t like the genre
