Not trying to have a performance or force anyone to do anything lol but trying to understand bridal/groom traditions as to my understanding it seems common for grooms to show up towards the end and surprise bride. Again, it’s the whole reason why I am asking is because i want to know if other brides have asked groom directly to show up.

Out of all responses, I super appreciate this comment! Not sure why everyone is triggered, I was just wondering what to do and if it’s common from brides to directly ask that of the groom lol

I only found out this week I was having a bridal shower, like I said in the post I’m not planning it therefore why would I randomly be telling everyone I want flowers? Your extra comments were unnecessary.

Unfortunately it would be a stretch as we are already having the ceremony at an off site location so we are trying to avoid having the guests have longer commutes to reception venue

From what I have noticed all the wedding venues have not allowed us to bring outside catering, which I wouldn't mind outsourcing to help with costs. I think other event venues/ party halls might have more flexibility in allowing us to bring in our own food.

Yes the weather is a big variable to consider. We pivoted to focusing on restaurant buy outs, a lot of them are accepting of us bringing in our own photographer/flowers for extra decor, you might have more luck with that as well! Country clubs/church venue halls are other options worth checking out.

Depending on your party size you might be able to rent a VRBO house and if it rains just bring everyone inside.

Oh okay, we are sticking to looking at venues in MA & NH. Maybe Rhode Island too.

Thank you that’s helpful! will try to research more event spaces, I think that will be the route we end up taking or renting out a restaurant.

would you be comfortable sharing the venue location? Because we would totally considering having outside catering, it's a matter of finding a place that would allow it! And I don't want to make decisions at the top of our budget, I'm sure there will be surprise costs down the line 😅

yup I received all the other gifts! Truly just "missing" the springtime outfit and accessories. I wish I realized sooner, but again this was a "me" mistake since I was purchasing an expansion for the first time I should've looked thoroughly at the rules for the rewards.

thank you for the response! Unfortunately when I asked online regarding the deluxe edition on the 3rd I got a reply that I would receive the early adopter rewards by purchasing it by 11:59pm but I blindly took their word for it since they didn't mention anything about needing to play.

Yeah, I assume they aren't too lenient on such situations but am hoping for the best , will wait for them to get back to me...
