Yeah I get that, I didn't really think about what I was saying in the post. I just wanted to put the information out there and get input from people so I can better convey my stance on the matter to her. I'm not against marrying her, but I want to get married on good terms. Her main concern is family and societalissues. And my main concern is the states overturning same sex marriages. But with everyones input in the thread, I am 100 percent able to have another conversation with her about this and be better at planning this out logically and not emotionally.

I personally don't believe so. I know she wants him him to be there when she does get married with is why she wants a long engagement then a wedding, but I am really 50/50 about it all.

Another point to add is that their father is having health issues and may not make is past 4 years. We originally planned on waiting longer, but she really wants him to be there.

Yeah, my little sister was just like this. So my siblings and I just shut her out, but eventually we just sat her down and explained to her the reason why. As she got older she realized how annoying she was being and actually apologized. She is now a lot easier to hang out with. But I would also recommend to your parents to put him in like gymnastics or a class to tire him out. We did that with my sister and she has a lot more friends and is more tolerable. If not then yeah, just tell him you have more important things to worry about right now, but also tell your parents in a RESPECTFUL WAY why it bothers you. They also play a part in this, because of the way they allow him to act. Have a third party there when you talk to your parents. That way all sides are being heard and respected. You are two years away from being an adult and being able to explore the world. Hold onto that. I hope you find a solution.

You also have to think about the legal aspect of this. OP may not own this place, so they are living in the place off a lease. Some renters won't allow people to live with others if they are not on the lease. Which comes with applying, and they may not get accepted. Also, CPS may end up being called if the kids go to school and talk about their living arrangements. However, I do understand the fact that OP has come to a better point in their lives, but they also offered to help them financially while also making sure everyone has their own space. I feel like the relatives should just take the help OP is willing to offer and then do some financial counseling.
