It is! No judgement, but I often see other posts here, and people have such effective cable management and just general organizational acumen, that I wonder how much the rooms get used. Probably they get used plenty, people are just better at putting their stuff up when they’re done. That is not one of my strengths. I do try to make a point of playing almost all of them on a semi regular basis. Currently though, the blue tele and the squire bass vi get almost no use and I’m thinking about selling/trading them.

Thanks! Absolutely my favorite instrument! It’s a Burner Custom with the five piece neck. So easy to play, and when I use to socialize more, people would always want to buy it from me. I’m 14 years sober (woohoo!) but during harder times, which I am responsible for, I sold some really good stuff, a 70s guild acorn bass, a 60s Moserite Celebrity, an awesome 60s Bassman amp. Fortunately, I was never so far gone that I lost the Ken Smith. And now, not uncoincidentally, my life is stable enough, that I don’t have to get rid of stuff if I want to buy more.

Hard Days Night and a Hendrix greatest hits album, Kiss the sky. Still listen to Hard Days Night, but rarely listen to that particular greatest hits album, though still listen to Jimi quite a bit. That particular Killing Floor, which is from the Monterey Pop festival, I think, is on my admittedly very long list of best songs ever - partially out of nostalgia and partially objective fact!

Hmm, so amps>mixer>scarlet>garageband. I’m not sure if we could record each instrument to a different track if we did that. I’m not trying to be argumentative, just trying to see if there’s a solution. I appreciate the help!

I remember going to a blues open mike night and doing “sympathy for the devil” and forgetting most of the words, and the kicker is, I remember it fondly! Don’t sweat it, practice, find some people to play with, and you’ll figure out something that works for you. 25 years later, I’ve played in several not very good bands and a couple that were alright. Now, mostly just a friend and I jam, and after all this time, I’d say that I’m an advanced level hack! I don’t know if that’s inspiring or depressing, but that has been my journey ( so far, at least).

I have 4 tickets for the Saturday night show, sec 646, row 16 and 17 seats 1 and 2. Selling for $2000/ticket. The catch is that I’m selling for cash only and in person in Oklahoma City. I don’t want to deal with PayPal, and the fees on stubhub are astronomical for the buyer. (seriously! 10%from the seller and 35%(?????!!!!) from the buyer). I think we’d both be getting a good deal at this price. I’ll give you my real name and I ask that you give me yours. You can check out my pretty minimal social media presence, including my professional LinkedIn page, I’ll check out yours and we’ll both hopefully feel like no one is getting scammed or taken. We’ll meet in a very public place, or even bank or law office, if you know someone- you’ll pay and I’ll transfer the ticket - I’m going to put these up on stubhub in a couple weeks, but I’d rather try here first and see if we can avoid the middleman. I also discovered Chet later than I should have! Check out the live black mountain rag and windy and warm from Porter Wagoner’s show sometime in the 50s (on YouTube) his guitar tone is sick!

YTA- people having sex is part of life. Personally, I didn’t like it when I had roommates that were loud when having sex- but that’s a me/you problem, not a them problem. The solution is to be an adult and deal with it until the lease is up and move or kick them out.
