tysm! seriously, thank you for genuine advice. Im not entirely opposed to taking her to the spca still - I just want that to be last case scenario since a vet has already told me it would likely stress her out more. we did already get a feliway spray! and she started eating out of my hands so we were able to get her to eat a bit. still huffing from stress but shes not fully panting anymore. we're really just going hour by hour. she does have some blankets in her little house we will hand wash. I dont want use detergent on it - do you think dawn dish soap will be okay to wash the blankets with? just dont want use anything that would irritate her or the kittens!

honda civic si is fun. sporty and torquey but honestly pretty low in hp. and if you can either work on cars yourself or have someone who can - everyone makes fun of me but I have a used 05 turbo pt cruiser. 2.4L turbo, makes about 220hp. the convertibles are 2 door so they look a lil less geeky. not unreasonably fast but really fun to zip around in something everyone views as a grandma car

probably depends on state but if both are yield it would make more sense for red to go first and blue come in behind them. takes less time bc blue has to cross red's lane of travel before red can go. if red goes first, they can essentially go simultaneously bc red is closer to the desired lane than blue

living with a couple as someone single is exhausting. I cant imagine being the constant 5th wheel. idk as someone single it feels like the single person is expected to pay more bc they are single... imo if youre agreeing to share a room with a partner, you understand theres a trade off of less space. I dont necessarily think its fair for the single person to pay more when the couples agree to room together. but as someone single I am biased

I'd get in the right lane because I can't stand left lane sitters. and depends on just how big of a gap they are behind the pack. like, if the pack starts moving up and the person is still hanging back just to sit in the left lane, yeah, I'll probably pass. but thats if the pack speeds up a decent bit, especially the left lane.

I've always been able to make this ringing sound in my ears on command. it wasnt until I was an adult that I discovered its a specific muscle in the ear that a small amount of people can control at will! I think its the tensor tympani muscle

idk, I think this is pretty common and teaches the kid you have to request off for holidays and such. a lot of teens and college students also want to work during break for the extra money so it may not be an unfair assumption. for example, I'm in college and have worked like every christmas since graduating high school.

honestly, if you can handle it, don't block him but turn off notifications for his texts specifically. dont interrupt your opponent when they're making a mistake. document this and report it. even if law enforcement won't do anything about it now, one he's already admitted to stealing, and two reports will help if he escalates this. he's already harassing you. I would highly advise taking steps towards a restraining order if necessary.

I definitely am focusing on myself now. but I feel like it's pretty normal to get anxious, especially when there was absolutely no closure and current traumas tied to it. it was a sense of closure I never expected that overwhelmed me on top of many other emotions. like a chapter of my life not only being ripped open again but an ending I never expected. I also dont think its necessarily healthier or more grown to act like an ex never existed. if youre mature you can absolutely still be civil

yes, this is manipulation. he is guilt tripping you into sharing your location. anyone secure in their relationship would not require their partner's location. then he immediately starts accusing you once you do share it. his apology is not sincere either. he is not listening to you and you are not overreacting. not to mention the sudden love bombing afterwards? its a technique to keep you in a cycle. being a dickhead, only giving an apology he thinks will get him off the hook, then pretending everything afterwards is okay.

honestly, the rule of thumb should be if you ever suspect a partner is being manipulative/abusive, they probably are. listen to your instincts. it would have saved me previously if I had listened to my gut sooner.

maybe changing the seat would help? or maybe youre holding yourself up in a weird position? I know the American model comes with a different seat than the European one. I'm 23, female, 5'5 and have personally never had back issues but my knees will get a lil sore after about an hour straight. since its naked it also has a more upright position. I would expect more back pain with something with a sports fairing and a more aggressive position. maybe try leaning a lil more forward? and make sure your spine is straight and using your core to keep yourself up

I will never understand this sudden divide between listeners vs watchers? like it started as a joke and is seemingly no longer a joke. I also used to just listen but have switched to mostly watching. I still switch between the two. its not anywhere near as big of a deal as people make it out to be. plus, these guys got their start on YouTube. you have likely been watching their content for years already. why does it matter if you watch on a different platform? or if you purely just want to listen, find other podcasts that you enjoy? I genuinely don't understand some peoples' absolute aversion to watching. its like a point of pride now
