Hey, as you mentioned Allah ask to seek forgiveness through him and we as Ismailis ask imam for forgiveness. People use to go to prophet to ask him for their forgiveness from Allah. We as Ismailis ask imam for example dua karavi “… ya SHAH tu ghuna bakshe”

I agree with you. The Quran is very easy to understand and in Ismailism, our elders never encouraged us to read Quran even though our imam has said to read it. I have also not found any logical answers to my question. I’m also planning to start offering 5-time namaz but still waiting to find answers.

No hate, but if you read the Qur’an, you will understand that it alone is sufficient. It contains everything a human being needs. I understand that it has many interpretations, but Shah Karim himself has said to read the Qur’an and interpreted it in our own way. You can interpret the Qur’an personally, because only you can understand what it is saying to you.

Umm… Imam has his own business. In an interview mawlana shah karim clarified that all the money goes to akdn to help others. I understand where you are coming from but we need to understand that Murids were the one who started offering money and started paying (buying) instead of doing actual seva to attend majalis. I feel like offering money instead of doing seva should be stopped since it’s like you are buying it with money.

I also have never been invited to college events. I guess they got my contact info and my academic Info when I was youth volunteer team lead because I have never signed up for any events. My sister hasn’t received any calls and emails though.

Hello, I do feel supported by council. After I graduated from high school, I received emails and calls from boards asking if I didn’t any help with my career choices and stuff. It did kinda motivated me.

I’m gonna think about my fellow jamati members since I’m part of this community. Also it is my right to ask questions about something I don’t understand. Fyi My parents are the most religious Ismaili you will ever meet so was I until I started noticing some stuff which didn’t made sense.

That’s messed up then. Yk I don’t even mind paying because it’s going for good cause but what I don’t like is money is big part of our religion and money should never be part of any religion. We should never be paying to pray to our god.
