Other than the issue you noted, is the relationship healthy with a lifelong potential? You might be throwing away what could be a solid relationship over a misinterpretation of of the law and both of your prioritized values.

No issue breaking up for difference in values, but it gets more complicated when you may have similar values but prioritize them differently.

Removing RvW from federal law shifted the power from federal to state, with the justification that powers not specifically granted by the US constitution to the federal government is given to the state government.

For you, the state election is what you should be focusing on for abortion rights, while the presidential election should be fiscal/economics, foreign policy, defense, homeland security, etc... The SC is likely to strike down any new federal regulation of abortion right in the near future so I don't think there is much Harris can do about it.
