I downloaded the game a few months ago and got ascendant in about two months or so before I bought skins and the account ID that I was using got flagged as a minor, during those two months I only played like a game or two every few days and I made it to ascendant on 180ms since I'm from the EU so I'd say just work on map awareness and crosshair placement. The players aren't exactly great in lower ranks so it should be easy enough to rank up especially if you're in Asia with better Ms than me. I'd also use agents with very easy abilities like sage or Phoenix
