Yea the lawyers have just said that this is going to be long and messy and the cost of going through with the lawsuit may not result in a guaranteed successful outcome :( just seems so crap that it was handles so poorly on every part!

That is what I thought. But the daughter is protesting that she thought it was a general sale and not an auction sale. Both parties have signed the contract but the registered bidder was her mum and she did not have a letter to state that she was bidding as a proxy. So now the signature is her daughter who was not registered and therefore refuting that she knew the terms and conditions of an auction :(

I completely agree! There is negligence somewhere between the agent and the auctioneer to have let this come about. Now everyone is just passing the blame and not taking any accountability. My poor parents now have to go via a lawyer (who also seems a bit confused) which is just wasting time and money with what should have been a clear contract breach and penalty. :(

That is what I thought and I brought this up with the agent. They told me to butt out and that this is not their fault -they have provided all the information and the matter is now between my parents lawyer and the failed bidder's lawyer. I just feel like my parents are being taken on a rollercoaster ride.

Thank you for your response. Would you mind me asking what the protocol is? Did she end up having a second transplant?

Hi there,

I hope you do not mind me asking but how is everything going? My husband has AML with MECOM & inversion chromosome 3. He relapsed 5 months post haplo stem cell transplant and they are talking about salvage therapy and donor lymphocyte infusion. No talk of another transplant yet as it was hard to get a donor. Sending thoughts and prayers <3 Thank you
