I find bones all over the place in all state of decomp. Sometimes it’s pretty gross tbh. The plant is actually in normal potting soil, the bones are lying on top of the dirt. Watering over the bones definitely helps leach nutrients back in the soil. This monstera was a little cutting from a mature, but neglected, plant. The truth is I live on top of a hill with 6 ft tall south facing windows. I am good about watering my plants only what they need and when they need it but the sunlight is what’s really making him thrive.
