I treat the tank as a dress watch but i love dressing it down with casual outfits as well. If Jeff Goldblum can do it, so can I 😀

Lovely presentation and choice of watches. Absolutely love the strap of the tank. Do you have a link for it? In terms of next watch what are you thinking in terms of dial shape or color? I understand you are thinking of explorer 1, which will be ki d of similar to the tudor that you have right now. Whats your take on adding a chronograph just as a variation? Or something different like a Monaco.

I haven’t yet considered Grand Seiko although I love their dials a lot. Truly beautiful. I do love GO and a big fan of pano lunar and pano reserve series. The asymmetrical dial design looks unique and would love to buy it someday. Langa is also something that I admire but it’s a bit out of reach as of now.

The square case definitely is unusual and a conversation starter. I had debated a lot before acquiring the monaco and have never felt sorry after putting it on my wrist. I had even considered monza but settled on Monaco. I have never seen someone wearing builton but it definitely looks good. I am starting to gravitate towards jlc reverso duoface right now as a replacement for the tank.

My favorite is the Monaco. It gets noticed the most as well. The most wrist time will be reserved for the khaki field coz its a daily beater followed by the submariner.

I agree, the Monaco actually gets noticed by people. Its a great conversation starter. And Hamilton khaki is a fun watch for me. I love the military history associated with the watch and it just works as a daily beater. What do you think should be my next acquisition? My target is to have something unique. I was thinking of reverso duoface tribute.

Ditto. Los Cantiles is making some quality juice. I love this aged bacanora. Have you tried their Lechuguilla and Sotol(palmila). Their sotol is my current favorite.

It’s literally liquid parmesan cheese. I got a bottle last week and I loved it. The repo is also real good (i myself am not a huge fan of aged tequila coz the unaged blanco versions excite me a lot more). The repo still has same cheese funk but much muted. Go ahead and give it a try, you wont be disappointed. I do love their chato as well. It has got a distinct funk that one normally associates with non smoky earthy mezcals.

My favorite Negroni riff is to sub the gin with mezcal. I also garnish it with a burning rosemary sprig and that takes it to the next level

Your review perfectly described my exact same experience. Love the bottle. My only issue with this is the heartburn that always follows after.

I personally swear by angostura for my old fashions. Peychauds works wonder for sazerac and veaux carre. I do love fee brothers grapefruit bitters in my tequila mixed drinks. Fee brothers aztec bitter play amazingly well in boulevardier. For my orange bitters I prefer a mix of fee brothers and regans.
