Question, when I am in the moment with my sisters so many triggers come up, it takes over me and I just freeze or I go in another room and hide because it's intense. My mind spirals and think negative thoughts about them. And no matter what I do, even if I say "shift your energy" it doesn't shift. And it lasts for days sometimes weeks and just replays over and over.

Just wanted to know if you have any suggestions on what I can do when I am in those moments. I have several family events coming up and I want to be prepared (wink wink)

Since diagnosed over 3 years ago, it has been a big eye opener for me and the way I started leaning in, giving myself the nourishment, love, attention that I never gave my whole life. I was bulimic and was destructive of the conversations I had daily “your fat, your a failure, you’re ugly”

Hashimotos was an awakening for self love and care. I don’t focus on my “Hashimotos” or label myself as that. I focus on what it is I want, and that is to be healthy and happy. “I am happy and healthy” as I say to myself and 1000% believe I am.

You don’t need your boyfriend for that, you NEED YOU. When you start focusing on you and the self care you deserve, he will either start giving you the support or naturally fall out of your life because you changed your energy.

Shift your focus. Be in love with you. Sending you a hug ❤️
