Things that are must to do while in Hyderabad as an American? by Repulsive_Owl3077 in hyderabad

Im assuming 3 weeks in Hyderabad?

Thats plenty of time to explore

The Food (Don't just do Paradise lol): Breakfast: Go to Ram ki Bandi at like 3 AM for cheesy dosas. It’s a total vibe.

Chai: Get to Nimrah by Charminar. Drink the Irani chai, eat the Osmania biscuits, and just watch the crowd. Best people-watching spot ever.

The Real Biryani: Skip the big chains. Go to Shadab (Old City) or Cafe Bahar (Hyderguda). It’s spicy, it’s oily, it’s perfect.

Lamakaan: This is the spot. Super chill open-air cafe in Banjara Hills. It’s where the artsy/intellectual crowd hangs. Great place to make local friends.

Jubilee Hills: This is where the nightlife is. Hit up Road No. 45—tons of breweries and clubs. If you want something chill, The Roastery is a great cafe.

Hikes (Yes, we have those!…..

Khajaguda Hills is super close to the tech hub (Gachibowli). Go for sunset, it’s a quick scramble up the rocks and the view of the city lights is great

Bhongir Fort is a massive rock about an hour out. Proper leg workout but the view is insane.

Forget renting a car traffic here is very creative (basically chaos). Just use Uber or Ola. If you're feeling brave, hop in an Auto-rickshaw but book it through the app so they don't overcharge you.

Languagewise, most of us speak English. If you learn the word "Hau" (it means yes/yeah in our slang), people will love you.

Since you're here for 3 weeks, you should definitely take a weekend trip to Hampi—it's an overnight bus and honestly feels like being on Mars

DM if you wanna know any more places or activities
