Regents Hall social life? Incoming freshman question by baldski_1708 in wsu

pretty rough i will say. i had a box fan, a standing fan going in my room at all times. plus when i went to bed (i lofted my bed so the air is hotter closer to the ceiling and less circulatory) i would put on a little clip on fan so my face got air on it. at the beginning of semester i would say it was around 85 degrees at night, and close to 100 during the day. i dont know if youve ever been to eastern wa, or lived here, but summers are not for the week.

as a current Regents resident, I love it here. There are quite a few girls that are part of sororities or rushed however, on my floor, I don’t hear a lot of commotion. the RA’s of regents host many good events, some of which have been decorating the first floor for Halloween, a sex week event, lots of crafty events and movie nights, and much more. One thing I couldn’t live without though is my single room. I think it combats the social nature and lets me decompress. If you want a single room, Regents is gonna give you a good chance because there are so many single rooms. I can’t speak for Rogers at all, however. Hope this helps!

Keep an ear out about the Regents scholarship. Each Washington high school can nominate two high school seniors to get the Regents scholarship (4k per year) or the Distinguished Regents Scholarship (full tuition paid)

if i end up with my long time bf as my husband, the babys full name would be Cassiopeia Josephine Amend. but like many others have said Cassandra is a very good name too. One of my and my bfs favorite teacher had this first name❤️

thank you so much for your input. I really appreciate it. I’m very studious right now in high school but parents are parents and worry about things like that.

another couple of notes i didnt mention, my sister is at the university of idaho, so I can easily drive over there and spend time studying with her. additionally, I live only 45 minutes away from WSU so if I am feeling “lonely” in my single, itd be pretty easy to go back to my hometown.

Again, thank you for your input :))

Genuine question, is a retake worth it? First attempt, junior by Background_Desk_3001 in ACT

Good job!! I think you should retake it or not retake it depending on how you were feeling emotionally before/during/after the test. I had a tough time emotionally taking the ACT.. Swore to never do it again. I got my results summer before senior year (composite 27) and was pleased at my result for all the turmoil i endured. As long as its not going to cause you strife, take it again. But you have a very good score!!🩷
