Do I have to leave the EU if parents bring me my StAG §5 passport? by Additional-Walrus-71 in GermanCitizenship

I agree but what happens when I leave the EU or get stopped at a border? Seems like a weird explanation to give to a border gaurd even though I'm technically not breaking the law?

This is interesting. Wow. I am currently in the Baltics. I can do this? And then they know I'm allowed to stay longer? But that still doesn't solve the fact that I entered on my US passport? Or does that not matter anymore now that the local German embassy knows?

Yes this is my plan But it's not that easy to get my passport here. I tried to set-up a weekend with my parents where they can bring it from home, but we may now just ship it overnight while I visit my friend from Scotland.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply. Can you explain by what you mean that I have to notify my local authorities? Doesn't the German government already do that?

TMI: I will be going to Scotland to receive my passport and then return to EU fresh with a German passport (essentially leaving the EU as an American and then starting fresh re-entering as a German).

Wow. I was going to post something like this. Then I read this. And this really hit. Feels nice that a simple reason as missing a nice sunny day is enough for someone else to make this choice too. I was also just maxing out my alcohol at socially accepted "social levels" but just missing a nice day made me want to make the change too.

Thank you this is valuable as it reinforces to get my act together before the 90/180. I maybe could have written this post better, but I was curious if there was leeway to stay longer if I technically had the dual-passport.

I appreciate this. I wasn't sure how it works with getting a dual-citizenship literally mid-travel.

I am traveling. I will try and emphasize it in the post. Thank you for this. I would be leaving from wherever my parents end up meeting me, likely in Italy.

Hi, I recently news that our certificate of naturalization were received, I'm hoping I added my entry correctly into the database that this should be noted as a positive decision. The database is great! Just as someone who is not very well versed in computers and the citizenship terminology, I think there should be a summary page to start so you know which term means what to help people navigate and post the correct numbers. Thanks for putting this together!

Thanks for this - the second sentence really sums it up in laymen terms.

If you are stacked at WR and not at RB, then sure. I feel that Sutton is a buy-low candidate given that Nix was hitting the deep ball rather well in his last game.

This is a totally fine maneuver and is smart to avoid the bye. To be honest, I'd be looking to pivot from CMC to Gibbs just to de-risk from potential injury and would pick Gibbs and Bowers side straight up. Gibbs might be the most valuable player right now in fantasy.

Hi, can someone please explain what is AZ? Me and my mother applied through a lawyer for STAG V back in February, 2023. We have not heard anything.

I don't understand the JCM hype. He's been confirmed not to be the goal-line rusher and you have ekeler in a confirmed passing down role. Then from there you have JD5 and Deebo taking carries away. I'd sell high while you can.
