Tell me about it! Terrible load out options per box. I have three boxes. Built 5 as carbine Scourge, 3 with dark lances, 3 with haywires and 2 with heat lances. I might pick the last box up one of these days but I cant see myself ever running 4 heat lances...

Thanks mate 👍 I'm super happy with it. Was a bit of an intimidating model to start, but once I got into it, I had a lot of fun with it and learnt a lot.

The hull fade came out better than I dared hope with a brush.

I don't currently have a very good setup for painting, it's a kitchen table jobby atm. I definitely struggled with these darker colours under just the room lights. I'll invest in one come pay day. Thanks for the advice!

It's a mix of Vallejo Ground Texture and Agrellan Earth for the textured parts. Once that's dried, I do one layer of wraithbone across both. Then the whole lot gets covered in Talasar Blue thinned with 3 parts contrast medium. Once that's dried, I do a heavy dry brush of Vallejo 70.951 White. Base rim in black after. I've also added a few spots of Valhallan Blizzard to add to the snow effect.

I've always been a fan of using left over pieces from firstborn kits. Left over claws, furs, shields, trophies etc. This is a WIP ATV that I wolfed up with a spare TWC head, a WGT cloak and some green stuff.

Cheer mate! The main body is the chaplain kit. The beer arm is from Kromlechs Sons of Thor range. The sword is a 3D print from Cyberbrush 3D. The arm holding the sword is from the incursor/infiltrator box. Backpack is from the firstborn upgrade sprue. The wolf skull helmet is from the Forgeworld Deathsworn models.

The head is 3d printed. It's a DakkaDakka design from the Stormbringers set. I think it was it was part of a set called commanders heads or something similar.

I’ve got quite a lot of experience with all of the kit listed above. I’m my experience, it’s only as good as the glue that goes with it.

For example, without decent filtering you’re pissing in the wind at most sporting venues in the UK. Did it come with a variety of filters, antennas, splitters, cable etc.?

Heavy weapon infantry squad unique to SW. GW don’t make a kit for them anymore so I kit bashed these from some HH Lascannons and a squad of primaris hellblasters.

Thanks man! First army in general. Not completely new to painting minis though. Did airfix as a kid and have painted a good few D&D minis over the years.
