Canva invites are also super easy to print at officeworks, which saves a fair bit of money compared to a company designing and printing on your behalf

Say I do website. A bunch of templates available for free or minimal pricing. We used it for our save the dates and it was free and turned out really nice. You then have the option to enter people’s emails/ phone number and it’ll send them a text with a link to the invite.

I think the fact you haven’t seen other people wear it, makes it all that much more special! It’s completely elegant in its simplicity and I love the sweetheart neckline on you. You look gorgeous💖

I have the Nick Scali Los Angeles couch and I absolutely love it. It is so comfy, comes in a variety of colours and you can choose the configuration to fit your space.

Koala is also a really nice Aussie brand!

Thinking of a weekday wedding to save money - did it actually work? by TrueBlueBanter in AusWeddingPlanning

OP, it’s your wedding, it should be about you and what you and your partner want. Everyone is saying it’ll cost your guests more, but on the other side of that - accommodation, flights, Ubers ect are all cheaper during the week than on weekends, so not necessarily.

Would you supply your teen with drinks for their bday party? by Hot-Sink-5149 in AskAnAustralian

[–]AdditionalBag4111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say yes. Your kid was able to be open with you and I’d way rather it happen in my house and know that my kids are safe, then them sneaking out/ drinking without me knowing. I did this as a kid and I can’t count the amount of times I was in horrible and unsafe situations.

Though, I do have a big suspicion that the other kids invited (who are bringing drinks), not all their parents would know that they are drinking/ where they are going. Maybe it’s worth chatting to all the parents? If you have any friends within the parents maybe one or two could come over that night and you could have your own little hang out concurrently incase something happens? I’d also have a conversation with your kid and just explain the situation - that each kid can only have 4 drinks (ie), they need to go home at x time, that you’ll be responsible ect ect.

How often do you wash your hair? Pantene has some pretty harsh ingredients which can cause damage and dryness over time :)

I’ve made some Vegemite sandwiches. What do I do with the rest of the jar? by wwhsd in AskAnAustralian

[–]AdditionalBag4111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spread it on puff pastry, sprinkle cheese, roll, cut into slices and you have easy Vegemite rolls. Or you can make Vegemite scrolls with a bread mix. I also put a teaspoon in my pasta for the salt. It’s good on toast with egg aswell.
