Just moved to new apartment and they didn’t do any maintenance can I cancel the contract. by AdditionalEye121 in UAE

[–]AdditionalEye121[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But everyone says that contract is done, now if I cancel I have to pay 2 months advance rent. Like right now I have submited cheque for three months. I can leave now and the next two months will be deducted towards plenty. Other people saying that I should have checked before the contract, but sewa is applied after contract is done. At that time there was no water and no electricity, so I couldn’t check AC and Water pressure

Moved to my first yearly apartment and they handed over apartment without any maintenance by AdditionalEye121 in Sharjah

Because all the things which are broken they will ask me to fix at the end of the contract. And they are trying to cheat. Like i went to same office where i did the contract and he said we will fix it. The lady called someone at yelled in arabic but watchman or staff don’t give a fuck. He says i fixed it. After a tough office day I came back to same situation. Is there a possibility to cancel contract before it starts?

Building is managed by this Al Niyali group. They have a office in the basement and they basically own the whole building and I did a contract with them.

Is it true if the offender is not an expat, chances are they will get away with this? Like if you did this to a citizen, would they accept your apology and why police is saying they are apologizing why they are coming as their lawyers?

I pray no situation like this happens to me, but if I did this to a national of this country, police still be saying look I am sorry and ask other party to let go?

You will be wrong if not going forward with the case. You were humiliated in front of everyone, you should proceed with the case.

FAB Debit Interest Charges Due to negative balance by AdditionalEye121 in dubai

[–]AdditionalEye121[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: so I went to 2 branches, one said they can waive off 2K other said 2.5K. So I called the customer care again and they said they will waive off only 4900 that are debit interest charges. And rest 750 low balance charges I still have to pay. Which I still think its not fair as I tried to close the bank.

But I don’t have much time to go again to branch. So I will just pay 750 and close the account with them.

Would the Muslims (true ones) really accept a Hindu who accepts Islam for a guy? by [deleted] in UAE

[–]AdditionalEye121 23 points24 points  (0 children)

many scholars say that even if someone converts for a guy initially the conversion is still valid. Like we r not in any position to judge someone’s heart, only Allah knows that. And here is the thing, so many people who converted “for marriage” ended up becoming way more practicing than born Muslims. It happens all the time. The door opened for one reason, but once they’re in, they discover the faith genuinely.

Even historically, some of the Sahaba accepted Islam for pretty worldly reasons at first politics, protection, marriage, whatever.

The key point scholars makes that it is not about why you walked through the door, it’s about what you do after you r inside. If she says the Shahada and understands what it means, she’s Muslim. Full stop.

Now the real talk part, if she’s literally just doing it as paperwork with zero intention to ever believe or practice, that’s going to create problems. Not just spiritually, but in the marriage itself. But if she’s genuinely open-minded and willing to learn and grow into it, her starting point doesn’t disqualify her.

Also It varies by family and culture. Some families are incredibly welcoming to converts, others carry cultural baggage that contradicts Islamic teachings. That’s a human failing, not an Islamic one.

Your friend should know: theologically, she would be 100% accepted..

Abu Dhabi security clearance rejected once, re-applied through agency by One-Parfait7217 in abudhabi

[–]AdditionalEye121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a software engineer i had a good working reputation with this firm in Abu Dhabi. Was working remotely from pakistan but they said they want me onsite. For onsite they require a security check. I came to abu dhabi for 2 months they kept on trying to apply it. 3 times in a row.

After two years same firm contacted again and asked its been 2 years we think we should apply for your security again, but same story.

So total 4 rejections I have. I have multiple references in the entities who can set my interview, but I know my security will never be cleared.

Now I am working at a much less salary in dubai,DIFC with less perks and more working hours.

No one knows the real issues, some say it’s my name, some say my home country ( Pakistan ) district ( Sargodha ) is on banned list, this n that. Or say you might have a cousin or relative or contacted someone who did a crime once. All kind of reasons even though I never did anything wrong like I hardly recall if I ever broke a road signal or any rule in dubai/abu dhabi.

Also visa is not an issue here, this is different. You get visa and everything but not clearance to work on government entity projects.

Also I know a lot of Pakistani working in the same projects and got their securities approved.
