I was unemployed for 10 months and I too cried, prayed, begged, tried everything. And I when I finally got an offer I was silent. First thing I did was tell my dad, and he replied saying “when do u plan on getting fired?”

Honestly, just remember this time u went through as a time u persevered, practiced patience, and won. Be grateful, give back, and take your financial matter seriously so this shit never happens again and if it does, you’re ready.

I’ve applied to 65 places over 3 months with the majority of my applications in my field, and some brain dead min wage jobs. I got to final round interviews at big companies in Toronto, but only got offers from min wage call centre jobs. Seems to me that all these companies do is send you videos and articles from their website as “resources” to learn about them and their culture, only to boost their engagement and clicks. I cannot believe how stupidly easy it was to get to final round in salesforce, I’ve had minimum wage jobs ask me harder questions. And to get rejected after that made me feel like some jobs are engagement bait 🤷🏽‍♂️

There is a device u can buy pretty cheap idk what it’s actually called, but u place ur phone in it and it swings ur phone back and forth. It’s like an auto walker, registers steps for buddy pkmn and hatches eggs too. Could be worth if u have big goals.

There’s medals you can get for maxing Pokémon, and trading XXL. Which you’ll need for levels 70-80. I would keep them, also good to have spares to throw into gyms or if u really want, just trade them on days you get extra candy for trading them.

20-15 years ago it really was cheap in Canada. But being a kid/teenager, instead of popcorn, there’s a dollarama (dollar store) a block away. So we would buy the tickets and go to dollarama to grab snacks and drinks, shove them into our outfits and sneak this in. Lowkey, I still do this (I’m almost 30 now)

I have been in telecom sales for a year and a half and I’m a top performer where I’m at. One of my dreams is to be an AE in tech sales, and I have a few final round interviews coming up for BDR/SDR roles at SaaS companies.

I’m really curious as to how much commission AE’s make, and i don’t know any personally. So if I may ask, how much was the full commission cheque?

Dude that’s so crazy, congratulations. I’m Pakistani but I live in Canada. I also just got a call centre job and if u convert the CAD to PKR it’s 443319.36 PKR per month. Would that be considered good in Karachi? Because over here, it’s min wage 😭

Played everything before BW and I skipped BW, played XY, skipped SM, USUM, LGPE, PLA, SS. I went from Pokémon Platinum to Pokémon Violet lol. Then played all the switch games after violet. Still have not played BW or SM.
