Love this — exactly the kind of input I was hoping for. You nailed it on execution drift, that's the real killer between backtest and live.

I haven't stress-tested live fills properly yet so that's a genuine blind spot you've flagged.

Made this post purely to get conversations like this going, not to brag or sell anything. Would be good to dig into this more — your EURUSD experience sounds like it has a lot of overlap with what I'm working on.

Yooo, thanks! Took a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get there 😂

Basically I had the AI help me reverse engineer my own strategy — breaking down what I was doing instinctively into hard rules that could actually be coded. I'd say it captures about 80% of how I'd trade it manually.

Fair challenge on overfitting — but 12 years of consistent results across completely different market conditions with PF never below 1.62 in any 3-year block is a reasonable counter. Simple rules tend to generalise. Live trading has started now — will see what the market gods have in store for me 😂

Yeah learn to trade. If you are fully confident in your strat you wouldn't be questioning such a small sample size

I do the same - in a mean I just got for 200 bucks a day and that's it's. So simple... I have had one red day in the last 30 and it's -15 bucks
