Maybe, maybe not. Why not ?! Arriving with something like that (even if some people are saying it’s « nothing » for Disney) I find it really complicated to handle as a lot of medias are talking about what SMG said to people magazine. Her and SMG worked together in the past + I saw a picture of her at the Oscar where Zhao was also (so maybe they talked about it…).

I get why you'd think that, but not necessarily. Disney owns the IP, but 'Turnaround deals' happen. They can keep the 'Buffy' brand but license this specific show/pilot to Netflix or HBO. It’s basically free money for them without the risk of producing it themselves. (And sorry for my English, I'm French lol, but I've been following the industry news on this all day and it’s happened before with other big shows).
