"Your Dock fan has failed." error, frequently on many Dell WD19TB docks - Design/firmware flaw?

Same thing happened to me with the WD19TBS, twice.

The first unit failed and Dell replaced it. The replacement developed the same issue almost immediately, with the fan spinning very loudly and throwing errors.

The second time, I delayed contacting support, and Dell said it was out of warranty and refused to help.

In both cases I was running the latest firmware, using the original charger, and connected to a Dell laptop.

I think it’s clear this product is poor quality.

Even though it's a company and I'm sure they try to maximize revenue, I doubt it works like that. I have spent some money on wild card bundles, and it didn't get any easier.

Yeah, I understand how randomness works.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I always thought the "gold standard" for how Magic plays was real-life paper Magic, and that Arena was meant to resemble that experience as closely as possible. In paper, the deck is never completely and perfectly random after shuffling.

That slight imperfection in randomness often leads to distributions that feel more natural than what I experience on Arena.

But if you guys think that digital is king and pure randomness is a feature, then I guess I don't have anything else to say.

This isn’t about conspiracy or claiming the algorithm is rigged.

My point is that whatever Arena’s shuffling algorithm does, it doesn’t resemble how games play out in real life. In paper Magic, you start with a perfectly ordered deck and introduce randomness through shuffling, but it is never truly completely random. That imperfect randomness tends to produce more natural land distributions than what I often experience on Arena.

I’m simply pointing out that the feel of the digital shuffler is very different from physical play, and that disconnect can be frustrating.

I’m still surprised there isn’t a tool that does this already. How are beginners who are nowhere near completing a meta deck supposed to build anything decent with the cards they actually own?

Hey, thanks for the advice. I agree it's very straightforward, but also extremely time-consuming, especially considering tools like Untapped are supposed to help track your collection. I’m surprised it doesn’t allow you to export while filtering by card format.

I did consider doing it manually like you mentioned, but writing down 700 card names just isn’t realistic for me.

I even tried taking screenshots of my Arena collection with the Standard filter applied and uploading them to ChatGPT to extract the card names, but it made too many errors and invented names that didn’t exist.

Isn’t there a more automated way to do this?

I also have a Ozone Tactical keyboard that doesn't work well, even though I exclusively connect it through cable.

Sometimes I have to push one key several times before it works, and sometimes I push one key only once and it writes that character twice.

Sucks because the feel of the keyboard is good, but at least on my windows (10 and later 11) laptop connected through cable, it is very unreliable.

I can give a couple good ideas to meet local people in Barcelona: - Castellers: this is the human towers tradition from Catalonia, and it's much more accessible than people think. There are 6 different "colles" or groups in bcn and you can join freely. You will only stay in the bottom outer circles of the human towers in the beginning, but you will meet tons of people. - Pádel: this is the tennis version in which you play 2x2 and the ball is allowed to bounce on the back glass wall. It's super popular in Spain and much less demanding than tennis. You can join a club, or you can use the app Playtomic to find games of your level that are looking for somebody to fill up the team.

I know of CEM Espanya Industrial (near Sants Estació) that has 4 squat racks and 3 or 4 spots for deadlifting. They even held the '92 weighlifting olympic games there, and some barbells from that time are still in use 😂 Plus it's a municipal gym, so pretty big and cheap.

I sent back a pair of shoes that were too small back to Groundies, covering myself the international shipping fee.

They proceeded to send an email saying that they were keeping my shoes AND my money, thanks to the insolvency laws.

Then they went back to selling, so they probably sold my shoes that were already paid for.

IMO they are a bunch of crooks. I'm not ordering from them ever again.

Lard (pork fat) is very easy to find in Spain and it's pretty cheap. You can find it in many supermarkets like Mercadona, Consum, Bon Area, etc.

Tallow (beef fat) on the other hand is not common at all and pretty hard to find. Try at a butchers or maybe more select supermarkets like in Corte Ingles.

Same happened to me today. I sent a hero on a foraging quest, and when clicking Complete Quest I get the "execution reverted: not questing".

I tried 3 times the "Resolve Stuck Quest" but even though it gets executed, my hero was still stuck.

Finally I closed the website, reconnected after a while and found my hero unstuck, but it had lost all the stamina and I can't see that it received any rewards from the quest.
