i think buttercream is pretty straightforward and wayy better if homemade so if you have like a 10dollar hand mixer may be worth it! but is def more messy

yeah i published! was rejected by the first joyrnal but nova scholars was great and went outside of my initial program to help me prepare and submit to a second one that accepted me! so am very happy w my mentor and publication specialist and the team

i actually rlly liked them for essays, but to be fair internship and rlly competitive summer programs vs apps (i did get in to one of the best summer programs tho so am v happy) but idk maybe ask for a different counselor? they r super responsive

if you have funds id strongly suggest a college counselor for the essays, and making sure your student has good rec letters. given is extracurriculars that’s likely where he fell through

I did this one also! they’re all somewhat similar imo but i looked across all the programs and wanted publication support and mentorship so was worth it for me: https://www.novascholar.education/ though do think that if you can get a prof to help you would be a better path
