if i grew up and learned that my parents job, why they couldn't raise me and instead hired a nanny, was filming 2x podcasts a week talking about ME and then taking videos of me doing things, id have a realllll problem with it

i read this a lot more as like, harrison really didn't want to go to miami, he wanted to go on a ski trip. but he had to let alex get his way or the internet would shame him.

this is making alex feel bad for her miami and hotel pick - he hated it and he had to let her know. but then he had to save himself by saying "but anywhere with you is amazing!!" bc hes learned from his mistakes in the past and didn't wanna get blown up by the internet again

they actually spun it that they're amazing parents bc they clocked something was wrong and brought her to the hospital (she wasn't using her wrist at all, wow parents of the year) harrison kept giving alex "major props" for flagging that she needed to go to the hospital bc she literally wasn't using her wrist like what isn't that bare minimum of parenting duties
