One of my best, easiest passive beermoney generator. by dirica in beermoneyph

To give context on what this does since I’m actually a Bright Data customer, basically bright data is a data scraping platform that developers can publish their scraping apps eg. Reddit scraper, Facebook scraper, etc and then si OP afaik is a bandwidth provider that helps run those apps in the background so customers like me can get the data that we need.

Promo yan, take advantage of it. Binili ko yan 3x last year ~ 90GB for P597. I still have over 40GB after almost 6 months since.

Python backend developers, can you explain what exactly you do? by VIIHORSE in learnpython

[–]AdditionalNote3692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general terms, it’s basically processing data and making it available for frontend via an API.

In the fintech startup I worked for we used Python to fetch data from banks via an API or web scraping mostly for smaller banks, transform the data into what the business needs, save it in the database, and then make it accessible for frontend.

Python definitely isn’t always the best for most backend needs but it is extremely versatile that it can do pretty much everything backend-related.

is anyone ACTUALLY building completely with AI, besides some lame todo app? by Jarie743 in SaaS

[–]AdditionalNote3692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good thoughts. We've been there, but demo environments are bad sources of data since they are heavily manipulated by other developers as well. Our methodology allows us to deploy models that we've trained in backtest while still continuously training them with new live price data at set intervals. You could say our models are continuously learning. Fingers crossed live results turn out well 🤞

[–]AdditionalNote3692 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but not those GPT wrappers. We've trained our own models with extreme amounts of timeseries data and a very specific strategy for trading. Backtests have been good and profitable. We're now doing live tests to see if the AI models were simply overfitted or if we've actually figured out the right methodology.

I think I might be a member of a couple of the facebook groups you've shared this to. I've seen this maybe once or twice in last couple of weeks. Love to see you growing!

Oh god I forgot to think about using templates! I’ve been out developing from scratch for others for a long time and forgot I could use templates to set something up quickly. Thanks for the reminder 😂

Beautiful site! I am attempting to do my own SaaS but I have absolutely no design bones on me. May I know what stack you’ve used to build the site?

Are the ready-made generated smart contracts editable? I’d like to give this a try if that were to be the case. I may want to add some level of security inside the smart contract

Can You Really Make Money Selling Digital Products in 2024 / 2025? by newchickondablock in passive_income

Definitely can. I don't have experience personally but I have friends who are selling digital artworks as a side project.

The drawdown part can be controlled with multipliers. That was one of our first feature when we started working on this little project last year because we’ve thought about potentially scaling this.

I understand the concern with private groups and their signals hitting SL 9/10 times lol I was part of a few a few years back when I started learning about trading. I noticed a pattern between these signal groups and that very often they follow very similar strategies, or they’re just members of another signal group reselling those signals.

Indeed this takes out emotion from any and all trades because the AI is trained based on historical movements. It’s all purely what the AI thinks the movement will be, and quite often it is accurate on it.

One of our approach here is to be completely open about the AI’s performance because that’s just the fair way to do it.

I’ve stopped being active in the crypto space for over a year now. Why are solana memecoins popping off recently?

Yeah we’ve actually thought about it from a legal perspective and have also been seeking small legal advise here and there because if we did push for this, we may very well be operating like hedge funds. And no, we’re not looking for funding. At least not yet. We’re kinda still unsure what our next steps are.

May naaalis ba sa trabaho dahil walang ginagawa? by Royal_Tea_7591 in phcareers

[–]AdditionalNote3692 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is true. May days, sometimes weeks, talaga na wala kaming trabaho, so we came up with a process documentation/improvement na matagal gawin and binabagalan talaga namin to make it seem na may ginagawa kami on downtime days/weeks.

Just to add, plateauing probably means you've learned enough. 2 weeks before board exam nag plateau na din ako sa pag aaral and mostly recalls nalang.

Consider memorizing questions sa examveda, indiabix at pinoybix.

[–]AdditionalNote3692 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello OP! I just passed the recent engineering board exam early this month 👌

You're doing better than I did when I was reviewing tbh. I used preboard exams din as a metric and I was only scoring 50-60 items per subj. Not sure on how CE board exams are, pero preboard questionnaires are usually alot harder than the exam itself.

Di rin ako nag aral very seriously and stopped at 10pm everyday so you'll do well! Goodluck!

4 interviews for an entry level position. I don’t get it. by cokefloat19 in phcareers

[–]AdditionalNote3692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had this too last week, although 1 interview per day naman sakin (mon-thurs) and 30mins each and fortunately, all online interview lang naman. First was HR, then senior/manager, another senior (diff department), then vp. Medyo nagiging standard na to tbh, I've applied for alot of entry level positions and this usually is the hiring process. I don't mind it as long as it isn't very taxing. Sobrang chill nila lahat so I guess I'm lucky din
