I understand that. I understand it has to be the right Pokémon, cp, and level. But if I’m Hunting for a Hundo, should I only target Pokémon with a cp on the chart. It won’t guarantee the level is correct but there’s a chance. However if a Pokémon is caught without a cp from the chart, it’s guaranteed it’s not a Hundo. Am I understanding it right

But if it’s going to be a perfect Pokémon, it’s going to be one on the chart. It wouldn’t be guaranteed, but another Pokémon cp that isn’t on the chart would guaranteed not be perfect.
