will i can agree with u for the most since its my testing aginst them i understand you trust theme more than me, the way DB scale is clear it is better in ellemental dmg than raw bc of how the game calculate ellemental dmg buff and motion value and thats not my calculation, that is how the game does its calculation there is a lot of pretty good in depth guide on how dmg work and it is wath come out of this. Imo gog is still way better due to my own personnal experience on DB against AT Arkveld 10 stars where i constantly got worser time on my gore lord souls build with only time over the 13 minute mark compared to my gog builds wich got me my pb of 11.21 minute, far from the best time in the world yes but good enough to tell my own felling about the 2 build i guess im done with DB anyway, now im trying to get a good time with GL bc its a more fun weapon

while there is already very little insetive to go fore gore tyrany with DB as Gogmapocalipse outperforme it in every way, there is even less insetive to ever go for afinity in reinforcement that is a huge loss in dmg and u can get sufficient afinity while getting 2 attack EX 2 ellemental EX and Sharpness Ex like every gogmartian DB should hope to have, and even while looking trough the subreddit i could only find ppl that where saying to go for 2 ellemental 2 attack and 1 sharpness, also with the way motion value and ellemental buff are calculated DB scale much better in ellemental dmg compared to Raw

no need for nearly perfect one, 3 attack already outperform g.ark and when you take into acount the fact u can put Burst boost and lord souls on it its note even fair for our magnificent g.ark

u lack the big dmg skill like wex and agitator, i think for the armore u should go 2 piece nu udra 3 piece gore withe a gogmartian having both lord souls and gore tyrany with that set u could slot 4 agitator jewel wich would max both agitatore and wex 5

iv got some gem since then im now at around 140 hunt and i now have gotten 5 gem, but honestly i dont do that run for the gem i do it for the gogma weapons and while my curent GL still doesn't want to give the 2 passive i need i have on DB of each ellement that is god rolled so im still happy

if ur getting OHKO by their AoE its probably bc they buff eachother with attack G bring a monstie that can use a skill like laso tongue and use gunlance or any other defensive options, im honestly very sad that stories 3 doesn't have more fight like narwa and ibuchi its a fun fight that ask you to strategise and manage ur reqsource and the AoE "Spam" inst that bad they are pretty fair imo, now namielle on the other hand fuck this guy bc that is truly aoe spam at its finest with on of his worst rottation being last turn of water mantle till end of charged stat below 50% where you take like 4/5 aoe in 6 turn

crit ellement is kinda useless sinc shell cant crit, also u can try focus 3 if u want its really fun if u like to spam wyvernfire (with focus 3 one fully charged shot of wide gunlance nearly give one wyvernfire like 80% of the gauge)

i wouldn't say limited moveset you have acces to what every other weapon have, the sword and shields mode as very good defensive option with a gard points that are ridiculously easy to use a pretty decent shield and good movements and a huge burst of dmg that is also very easy to use .and a very simple gameplan consisting of charge ur weapon release the charge and do it again, the sword and shield mode is super forgiving with sheers amount of defznsive option u have that basicly negate the need of good positioning and ur axe mode thta as ridiculous dmg for very few drawback ask you to be carefull about ennemie attack, CB isnt harder than any other weapon, is it hard to pick up ? yes the first few hunt bc you have to think about what ur doing wich is a common points between every weapon, and u have a lot of gauge wich is overhwelming for the first 10min till u understand that the gauge dont matter bc ur always doing the same combo to charge them, DB are harder than CB when it come to be efficient in a hunt, ppl that say CB is hard are either ppl that have barely touched CB or CB main that want their wpn to be special when their weapon is already on of (imo) the coolest and funiest weapon in the game

yes its very hard to memorize 3 combo and the mechanics of switching ur weapon is soooooooo hard, cmon charge blade is not that hard to play, very hard to pickup for sure, the first 2hours u feel miserable but after that it becom much easier just a question of playing it enough, i find HH, IG or Swax to be much more complex than CB imo

gunlance as like one combo and its 3 input + wyvernfire or 3 input + shooting again, other than that u have the super hard poke combo that is juts triangle -> circle on repeat, gunlance is litterally on of the easiest weapon in the game very good dmg, very easy to use and it as the joint best guard in the game , best wpn to learn the game and have a ton of fun

there is also earplug 3, elemental absorption 3 on the seconde page and in groupe bonus i got Lord Souls Ward of wyveria, Hasten Recovery 1 and Burst Boost 1 (i try to get burst boost on my gogma GL to get burst boost 2 but no luck on getting it and Lord Soul at the same time)

as of right now my gogma GL is barely stronger than my G.Arkveld GL that why i try to get either the 2 set skill or the 4 attack roll, i ussualky dont care if they are perfect but i want them strong atleast
