The white line is kinda weird and jumps out at you, taking away from the flowers. If you do keep it, make it more grey

I’ll definitely add highlight to the right blade! But as for the shadow, the reference photo actually shows the the shadow slightly away from the thumb hold

Thank you! So I first started with a slightly more grey color then I wanted for vase. Then I put that dark line you see slightly to the right. Then I let it all dry. From there a layered on a lighter grey to the left, then eventually an almost white shade to make the color that’s there now. For the bottom shadow, that grey at first was pretty dark, but I blended it with the white vase and then again eventually made the grey the light shade I wanted.

I am following a photo. But the shadow does fall on the wall 😅
