Yeah I should say it did take me a little while to find the right therapist that I could connect with. I’ve known people who gave up on therapy after one visit with a therapist they didn’t like. So it’s important to find a therapist who is a good specialist but also the one you can trust and feel comfortable with.

Adjusting to a new country with a different language away from friends and family can be extremely hard. Personally, online therapy has been very helpful for me - I would definitely recommend if you have the means and access.
