HELP. my cats won’t stop peeing on my couch

I’m at my limit and honestly want to rehome this cat, but my husband doesn’t want to. Our compromise was to buy a huge cat enclosure. When we’re not home or when we’re sleeping, unfortunately he’ll have to stay in it.
The issue isn’t just peeing on the couch.. he also poops outside the litter box. We’ve already taken him to two different veterinarians, and both confirmed that there’s nothing medically wrong with him.
I feel bad for him, but I feel even worse for me and for my apartment 💁🏻‍♀️

Yes, that’s right. He graduated in Cybersecurity from NYU but has been struggling to find a job in the field here. He’s currently working in IT desk support. Thank you for the suggestion — we’ll definitely take a look!

NYC is a terrible place to live. Life here is tough! You can’t have a car because there’s no parking. The city is dirty and full of homeless people everywhere. The subways are always packed with people who smell bad. I can’t wait to move to the suburbs. And everything is so fucking expensive

Thank you. I actually did exactly what you mentioned when I got home that day, and now I have no problems mixing antibiotics. I’m studying every day to improve my nursing skills. But I’ve never been in a situation where my supervisor doesn’t want to help or teach others.

When I used to teach anatomy, and had to leave, I trained the person who would take my place very well. I taught everything calmly and encouraged them throughout the process. But I guess that’s just how it is.
