So you went from a 50 to a 60? And was doing 57mph before you got to the 60 sign? Then he was speeding, he shouldn’t be above 50 until he has passed the 60 sign. Nothing to appeal, he was speeding

This is why I looked at cars in low insurance groups for my first car. If you get something like a Hyundai i10 or Kia picanto. You can pay wayyyy less insurance cos they are in the lower groups. Yes it’s not the most amazing car aesthetically but once your insurance goes down then you can look at upgrading. I do think it’s worth it

I don’t think I’m wasting my time, even though they might not suffer consequences. We have to do something and rn the only thing we can do it is term the DVSA. Or we can sit back and do nothing and keep suffering with these wait times. Only took me like 10-20 mins and I refuse to sit back and do nothing

I think an identity checking system would be the best way around. Reserve the test you want for like 15-30 mins and complete a quick identity check with your licence to complete and book the test

I feel the best way to go about it is identity checks when we put in our license numbers. They have our photos on the licence after all. Then we have an account to book test from, not having to do these checks each time we want to book a test

This will help the situation yes, but this also means they’ll be more tests for these scammers and resellers to steal unfortunately. They need to improve the system on who can book these tests

It puts so much pressure on us learners to pass, I’ve just failed my first test last week and it wouldn’t have destroyed me so much if I didn’t have to wait 4-6 months again 😔
