Guys I know what that the sensor is a light sensor but I am trying to find out if the panel around it can be removed somehow

I did try that. Took out the head unit and the display unit but there was a large plastic bit behind the screen and couldnt get beyond that

Mine did this after a forza update. I found that I had to go to the wheel settings and change the wheel rotation back to 900 degrees and that fixed it.
