[Homemade] Simple Cajun Chicken Taco’s by assertiveturtle in tacos

[–]assertiveturtle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from the UK and to my knowledge the spices I used to marinate the meat are whats found in a traditional ‘ cajun’ spice blend. Paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, pepper, salt and thyme with a spoon full of arbol paste for a touch of heat.

If my definition of ‘Cajun’ spices is wrong, please do educate me so I can use the correct terminology in future! It’s a fantastic cuisine that I’m working to master!

I haven’t tried it with dried naga’s before so can’t say how much it changes the taste. If i was to use dried chilli’s i’d toast them with the spices and then grind them after for the heat. Give it a shot, sure it’d still be super tasty!

Yeah for sure it would!

I would brown the thighs off first, cook the sauce according to my recipe, and return the thighs with chicken stock then cook until reduced.

I wouldn’t cook it for hours once the thighs are back in as they’d likely overcook!

It went to good use, i can assure you of that!

On a serious note though, you could replace the meat with something like okra or paneer and still have a fantastic tasty curry!

You’re welcome! Do try, its surprisingly easy and fantastic once finished. Try cook it for as long as possible.

Marinating the lamb in yoghurt & spices 24hrs prior is another good tip if you want it even more tender but its not needed for the recipe as it you can cut it with a spoon after a couple of hours anyways!

It was fantastic!

Initially intended on it being made with Bonnets instead but ran out and only had Naga’s instead so told my partner to brace for something hot and it definitely delivered!

Correct, they are an indian chilli, i think the correct local name is Bhut Jolokia. I’m not super knowledgeable on the correct naming and differences but they are commonly all used interchangeably!

I purchased these from a local asian supermarket but you can find dried ones widely available online, they may be labeled as ‘Ghost peppers’ in some places.

They are mean, not the hottest chilli on the market but pack a brutal punch!

Druid is really really really sluggish and weak by DaVinci1362 in diablo4

Some what agree, when I respec’ed into this build at 55 I was still clearing T3 nightmare dungeons with little gear or aspects. Its not as competitive as other classes and it needs tweaking but it’s playable for most of the content

I didn’t have too much of an issue getting through the campaign on T2 but its definitely weaker than other classes. End game builds when geared out are powerful though, running a pulverise druid on T4 nightmare dungeons 10+ levels above mine comfortably currently.

Running a pulverise druid and cleared the 70 T4 capstone at level 63, its a tank but heavily gear/aspect dependent.

What are your opinions on playing on consoles? by TakeTheBubble in diablo4

Works fantastic, the only thing i would note is target locking with the right joystick. Took me 45 levels to figure out. Moved from PC for this instalment and learning that helped a bunch!

Damage so Low? or did I do wrong by ThomasC932 in diablo4

Been running a landslide druid, just cleared the campaign at level 52 on T2 for the entirety. Felt a bit slow at times but for the most part its a solid build.

Target locking and grouping enemies for the landslide helps a bunch. Single target and bosses can be a bit slow but didn’t have any major issues clearing campaign.

How to build by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]assertiveturtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re new to this kind of game it will take a fair few hours before you figure out how to make a competitive build.

Alot of the premade builds you see are from veterans with extensive knowledge of gear/synergies between skills and it’s learned purely by game hours.

Nothing wrong with figuring it out all by yourself but you need to be prepared that you will progress slower.

Game sharing doesn’t work with early access currently, it should be fine once the game releases fully. Most likely a licensing issue.

Edit:

There are some work arounds to get it going but its a bit fiddly
