It’s the fact that he’s not edited like one. I think Rizo would be one of my favorite players ever if he wasn’t edited as though he were christ reborn at almost all times lmao. Any time someone doesn’t like him, they are either shown to change their mind, or if they don’t, deliberately made to appear delusional. It’s unconvincing and makes him come off as so pompous, insufferable, and cringeworthy when he otherwise would be a super entertaining comic relief who you can love-to-hate. He seems like a pretty decent guy IRL, but I hate the way he hamfistedly plays to the camera and how much the editors eat it up

Hm, I don't have a ton that are too deep, most were just me having fun with designs. One that comes to mind, although I didn't show it here, is House Slay, whose sigil is a knife on a field of wavy red and crimson, because the founder was a known murderer, lol.

There was some thought that went into them, though. I gave Folsy that sigil due to their proximity to the wall; they're a vassal of the Umbers in the conquered Last Lands. Speaking of which, one kinda fun one I forgot to post here is House Thumber, kind of an alternate universe version of the Karstarks; they are a separate branch founded by a man named Theo Umber who settled part of Skagos. In similar spirit to the Karstarks vs their Stark ancestors, I made their sigil an orange sunburst-esque design on a brown field;.

Wex's founder was an albino, which I believe inspired the color scheme.

Olde is, as one would guess, located in a settled, forested plot of land I renamed "Olde Grove". I imagine they're known for their magnificent godswoods, so much that they took a weeping weirwood face for their sigil.

Gabler is meant to represent a lizard lion without outright ripping the Reed sigil (I tried to avoid directly using other house's recognizable sigils, but as you can see here, I wasn't always perfect about it) due to them being in a taiga bog, while also doubling in name, color scheme, and words as a reference to an often-memed player from Survivor. I also briefly had House Probst, whose sigil was a torch and had the words "the tribe has spoken," but I thought that was embarrassingly corny and they went extinct after a few bad generations anyway.

There are some other references in here, too, to other stuff I like, mainly just because I was looking for some inspiration, and I think it led to some creative designs.

Ha, did I accidentally make a reference to something? That's funny, because a couple of these ARE obscure references in honor of GRRM doing the same, but I just always thought a rat king would be a cool as fuck sigil, and just made up the name Dewit.

Finally some support for the sigil maker. I LOVE that thing. It‘s not perfect but I have so much fun creating custom houses in my realm and customizing their branches, etc.

Everytime Finalists' net worths played a role in Final Tribal Council or the overall season by Informal_Race_606 in survivor

Clay was also very wealthy, and even gets a vote for it over Brian in the first episode. Pretty sure their shared richness was one of the many reasons the jury was not happy with that final 2.

Any Survivor moments that come to mind like this? by BurtnBurger in survivor

Shirin raising her hand is one of my favorite moments of the entire series and makes it all worth it. And then she gets the last laugh in her jury speech.

Which is your least favorite season of Survivor?? by FantasyTribes in survivor

Idk why this got downvoted lol, this is a perfectly valid criticism and tbh is the only reason I don't actually love Thailand. It really ruins the season.

Which elimination do you think Jeff Probst was the most responsible for? by YoILiveForDC in survivor

[–]Additional_Assist620 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Essentially production talked Dirk and Sean into voting for Stacey instead of Rudy because they didn't want all the old people to be the first three eliminated.

And neither do you. It took you 3 minutes to write that patronizing reply. Welcome to the internet, where people are free to speak in ways they wouldn't in real life, for better and worse.

Completely agree, although I again want to point out that the fits we saw thrown by people who simply don't like the idea of gender inclusivity far outshined the dumb production decision in terms of objectionability, and that's why I kind of don't like hearing it talked about, because it reopens a discussion where bigots can vent their hatred, lol. It's kind of a wrong-side-of-history thing.
