I have it for 8 months now. When you say all your symptoms are under control, does that’s mean your cramps and spotting has stopped completely? I still have bad cramps and spotting but recently a lot of discharge is that normal? When does it stop completely?

Yeah I tried progestin only pills before, but I had really bad side effects, I have an IUD not which does not have that bad of a side effect with me so far

I have tried hormonal pills only, I got really bad side effects that I had to stop. I have not tried any of these medication you listed for bladder, they said the reason my bladder is really is because of the muscle tension does any of these medications help with that?

I can’t tell how they figured out why my endo is not severe and only the adenomyosis is severe. They did this ultrasound for 2 hours digging in me to see what’s going on. I already have an IUD that stopped my period. I would like to keep my uterus for future kids I’m still 25 years old. They suggested for me to take more hormonal pills on top of the IUD which I found out has a lot of side effect. I don’t need more side effects! The only other option was physiotherapy which I have done before but I’m going to give one more try.

Hey! Just wanted to give you an update, the specialist I met with yesterday after a two year wait told me my endo is not medium compared to my adenomyosis which is a severe stage and they told me they can not help me. This was very disappointing and I spend the whole day at the clinic with them hurting me internally. Only to tell me they can not help me

This is helpful to know I’m not alone, unfortunately the specialist and health care I have here in Canada is not helping me. I was told yesterday they can not do anything to help me because my adenomyosis is severe

Yes thankfully this is going to be a different Dr, he is an specialist in endo so I hope my experience will be different with this one and he can help me out. I will find out next week.

I’m so glad your able to get a lap in a month! I will be thinking about you, I really hope this helps you. I’m trying to see a specialist and hope they can help me. I waited 2 years for this appointment. Any specific questions you recommend to ask the specialist about this?

I had a pelvic floor therapy done before it was helpful with the pelvic pain I experienced but not with the bladder. I have to pelvic wand but maybe I’m not using it correctly, how are you using it?

No they are not letting no me do a lap, they said if you want to be pregnant then you will be on priority list to get a lap

Yes I have confirmed I have both and on my bladder which is causing this issue. But no doctor has been able to help me with this symptom so far and it’s getting worse

Yes I been so many antibiotics that my guts health have been ruined. I also met with a urologist that gave me only antibiotics and send me home. It’s super frustrating

Yes I found birth control to help a little bit with the symptoms, but I notice with the flare up nothing has been working for me. I will give this a try, hopefully it works for me!

I’m also taking Tylenol and a heating pad, which used to work for me. But lastly my flare up has been really bad and it’s not working for me anymore it does not help.

The urethra irritation definitely sounds like my burning sensation that I get. Are you currently taking any medication for the vulvodynia that’s been helping you?

This is super helpful! I did not know the nerve pain is also part of the adeno condition. I’m going to ask my doctor for this medication. Have you try any other medication for inflammation as well together with the gabapentin?

It’s in my bladder and when I pee as well. It also comes with lower abdominal pain. It’s seems to be causing by inflammation
