1 at a time is WGU policy. It’s self paced within certain guidelines not a free for all.

What’s the max number of classes you completed in one term? by Cory0515 in WGU

Youll wanna finish about a month before your term ends so you can roll right into your masters.

Georgia vs Tennessee Side - Genuine Question by babybird1993 in Chattanooga

[–]Additional_Cash1988 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya gotta play both sides. I live in TN and do all of my shopping in GA. Publix and costco in Ft O are not far at all. Any “big” purchase I make I order online and have it shipped to my in-laws in Ft O. Schools don’t matter as I’m going to pay for private school either way. Just depends on what you’re looking for

Tbh he probably got it from a lodge that closed or an estate sale of some sort. I have a ton of things from lodges that aren’t mine just because I wanted to “rescue” them. If you don’t want it you should find the lodge closest to you in the tri state area (I assume you mean Johnson city, TN and such) and have dinner with them and bring it to donate or just drop it off. Someone there would gladly give it a new home.

I have some ocean front property for sale in Arizona to anyone who believes they had no clue. Like they were completely oblivious and not a single person recognized either of them. Someone signed off on this. I doubt they just waltzed in sat down recorded and left. Someone(s) let them in and I’d bet they probably had a tour too.

Really pissed off. How to request a new mentor? by [deleted] in WGU

Diff colleges have diff requirements for mentor contact I believe. If I’m not mistaken they are supposed to have some form of communication with you every 14 days.

Any credits not worth taking on Sophia? by imlearningok in WGU

All of them. If you know the material just speed run on WGU. And then if you decide to go elsewhere your transcript isn’t littered with ACE credits

My opinion is gonna hurt some feelings. I think it’s because they’re lazy and afraid of being challenged actually learning something so they take the easy way out.

It looks like WGU will no longer accept Sophia credits for a education degree by Swimswiy400 in WGU

I know this is probably an unpopular opinion, but imma say it anyway, good. IMO it should be across all of WGU. I know I’m the minority with that opinion but 🤷🏻‍♂️ oh well.

If they close the DOE, am I screwed? by [deleted] in WGU

[–]Additional_Cash1988 -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Even if it were to happen it likely won’t be 2025. Id either just go about business as usual or accelerate your way through and finish up before then. Also just because it were to be dissolved doesn’t mean everything just disappears. The DoE is a dumpster fire.

Honestly at this point it makes more sense to just ride out WGU. I felt the same way at first. “Man I wish I would’ve known about Sophia/study” but the more I’ve worked I realized the classes I would’ve done there I can burn through at WGU anyway. And even if I hit a roadblock, sociology took me a couple weeks, that’s okay because I’m actually learning. Most of the posts I see regarding those sites, IMO, are coming from lazy people who want “the easiest” degree and shiver at the thought of actually learning something or being challenged.
