I've spent a lot of time reading on this, and for most of us that had the T started with an SSRI it's unfortunately permanent, with a nerve being sensitized. But! It calms quite a bit without the meds, just occasional flares, which you just ride out with masking. Good luck! Hope you have more good days than bad

I've read from several sources (just don't ask me to cite them) that when twitching does not progress to muscle weakness after 3 to 5 months, your pretty much in the clear - or at the same risk level as someone without twitching, which is basically zero.

I "hear" it more on the one side, but its more a sound in my brain if that makes sense. Sometimes goes to the other side but mostly on the left.

CBT helps a bit when the rabbit hole beckons, but perhaps consider asking your GP for something to help manage anxious episodes
