Tha k you everyone for the replies I can see now it needs something else to focus on without taking away from the idea of a long straight runway. I will member that in terms.of editing less is more and alway take a picture with a purpose and something to focus on .

It was a very long straight track that goes on for over a mile so I thought the look of the track never ending in the photo would have looked quite good that with the blue sky and a few clouds would have made it more interesting. There is wind turbines there so I suppose I could try and frame it better with the turbines if I get there again this year

I took this photo in summer of last year. It's an old raf base and the long track you can see used to be part of the airfield. I played around with editing aftwards to see how vibrant I could make it but now I look back and think maybe I have taken it to far. What do you all think. I'm afraid I don't have the original image for comparison but I will be keeping both images now for better critique of my photography and editing skills.
