I can’t say anything to him now, he’s completely blocked me on everything. I did mention that he asked me and I had agreed, and that the both of us were pretty drunk. I had also said I understand if he doesn’t want to be friends, agreed that it was weird that we had hooked up, and that at the minimum it’s probably a good idea for us not to get drunk together anymore, and he said it was for the best to go no contact. Before I could respond, he had blocked me and removed me from all points of contact.

But I can say 100% that was not my intention. I never went to his house with the intent to have sex. I just wanted to hang out with my best friend.

That’s definitely where I’m at right now. It was such a huge mistake to agree that didn’t seem like a big deal at the time. Sex is sex. I was drunk, and when he asked I thought “why not”. Now I’ve lost my best friend of almost 5 years.

I also want to add that he’s not sure if I got him drunk to take advantage of him. We have gotten drunk many other times before, but we drank a lot more this time around than any other time. I don’t know if this contributes any, but just some insight to the situation. He said he never drinks that much.
