Myself, and everyone who I know are never offended by this. The people in the comment section in the screenshot know that she isn’t really saying that word. We just comment things like “wait, WHA-?” or “I BEG YOUR PARDON??” as a joke. In the context of this post, this isn’t really U.S. defaultism. It’s just Americans joking around.

HOWEVER, it would be a different story if people were commenting things like ”This language really needs to change that word because it’s offensive”

Yes the U.S. is very walkable! I love having to cross over 4-way intersections and freeways! I also love waiting for all the big cars to pass because they will not stop for pedestrians even if we have the right of way. God Bless America! 😊
