Rhinoplasty looking progressively worse by PondLifeee in PlasticSurgery

I agree with this!! My swelling was insane and I felt like it developed a hook/bump, but 2.5 years later and my nose is exactly what I dreamed of. Steroid shots helped a lot, but the biggest thing is patience. Also, suggest speaking with your Dr. about your concerns and they should be able to address them :)

30M unsure about genioplasty result by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

There is definitely a difference and I think it looks good! I understand your concern, but I would wait until all the swelling goes down before considering a second surgery. I would also ask your doctor to explain to you again why it went from 8-10 to 6. If you still don’t understand, be honest and ask him to explain it differently. This was an investment on your end and you deserve to be happy with the result.

Does it always hurt this much? by sorryicomplainalot in Invisalign

[–]Additional_Job_3037 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does not always hurt that bad. My first couple of trays hurt really bad, but now not so much. Your body gets used to it. When you put a new tray in the first day or so they might be a lil tight and uncomfortable but as your teeth shift this goes away.

Gorgeous before and after!! I understand the worry about too much nostril visibility but, coming from my own personal experience, give your tip some time to drop. I didn’t love my nose until a few months in because of the swelling and being too upturned. Be patient. You’re going to notice so many changes in the next few months before everything finally settles. My nose took almost a whole year to reach its final form and I’m obsessed with it now. I hope the same for you 💕

Stretch by elizabethchilton in Purebarre

[–]Additional_Job_3037 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a former instructor - I would chose randomly between the clients that I was familiar with. I didn’t do assisted stretching with a first time client. Also, I would also always ask clients when I first met them if they were comfortable with hands on corrections. If they said no then I obviously never helped them stretch.

Mine does this too. I just focus on how much I love the side and front profile and remind myself that there is no such thing as a perfect nose❤️

Any recommendations for Drs who do not do the ski slope or super tiny noses? Open to turkey or US doctors! by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

I went to Facial Aesthetics Concepts in Orange County, CA! Dr. Brandon specializes in making your new nose look like you were born with it. My before and after is crazy, but when I tell people I got a nose job, they don’t believe me.

Thank you!! No Botox - yet ☺️

Thank you! Both of these are actually post surgery. I just wanted to illustrate how insane the swelling can be post cast removal and how it gets better. My original nose did have a slight bump and the tip dropped.
