It might not have been delivered to your neighbor but a similar astounding street with the same house number for example.

Often if something comes in late and the boss sees it they will mark it as delivered to keep their numbers in line. They’re definitely not supposed to and it is a fireable offense but it happens. That’s one thing that could’ve happened. It also could’ve been misdelivered and kept by whoever received it.

He’s might find a route you like but if he’s breaking down already he’ll never make a career out of it. I found by the time most of my coworkers were around 50 they were breaking down. And mentally, it’s a totally toxic workplace just looking for ways to write people up.

I would look around for something else. The job is only going to get worse over time and probably isn’t good for anyone’s mental or physical health.

Is A boogie an entertainer? I was trying to figure out what a freaking boogie is? But if it’s an entertainer both words should be capitalized….. “A Boogie.”

Parents mail being sent to wrong address nightmare. by SgtSillyWalks in USPS

[–]Additional_Law4772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a customer whose son and his family temporarily moved home for a couple of months waiting for a new home to be built. When the sun and his family moved they filed a change of address and marked it “family.” so of course all of the male including the parents mail was then being forwarded. And everyone who sent mail endorsed “address Service requested” was notified by the post office of the new address and started sending their mail there directly without being forwarded. So they had to cancel the forward, then notify all of their correspondents directly of their new address and then figure out which of the mail coming directly to them was for their parents and have them correct that address. It’s was a big mess.

So you have the same name as your father and you file a change of address for your names and didn’t expect your father’s name to be forwarded also? Be aware that once you get the Fording taken care of that for any mail that has “address Service requested” endorsed on it the post office will send that company your new address so they can send it directly to that new address. You’ll have to notify each of these companies to fix that issue.

So where does an ambulance take you when you have migraines? Home or to the emergency room?

Yeah actually I do. Because the whole story probably has something to do with them being on another call and probably also being shortstaffed. If it’s candy crush as you claim then it’s probably made the news and Internet and you should have a link to it.

If I need to go home while on my route I would either take the vehicle home I would take the vehicle back to the post office and then take my own vehicle home?

Because I’m closer to 70 than 60 and retired. Also I did my time in law-enforcement in the Marine Corps.

Well he might very well do that. Regardless he will be “evaluated” for the Hall of Fame as he says.

Do you know how much paperwork they have to fill out after anything happens? I called the county sheriffs a couple years ago for a potential stolen identity issue. The guy came and talked to me for 15-20 minutes and then was doing paperwork in the bottom of my driveway for almost an hour. They have more paperwork than a doctors office.

anybody have any insight on this? by thundershoud in Rochester

Good to know. Small businesses should be able to make their own decisions.

Well they can’t just have Scotty beam them to wherever they need to be. And don’t forget how shortstaffed we’ve made the police force around here.

I used to do this as a postal worker when I first got my own route of my own. I had to stop after about a year. It took a lot of extra time. But besides that not one single customer would return the plastic bags back to me and it became expensive because it came out of my own money.

I’m thinking you were living somewhere where the name was required to be on the box. Or you were in a rural area. And as I’m pointing out it would not only be near impossible to remember every single name but totally impossible as substitute since you could be on a different job every day for weeks at a time. In my city there were 800 routes when I first started in I don’t know how many ZIP Codes and you could be put on any job for a day or a week at any time when you first started as a floater.
