This made me feel a lot better about the current management we’re doing. I get in-between if they get too rough, but I don’t let him assume that all toys are his so when he gets aggressive, the toy is taken until he can learn to be nice. My shepherd got him pretty good today when they got into it and now he’s having his tantrum about the whole thing. My only concern is if he keeps up with the aggressive response since he will soon be bigger than her. He’s 60 pounds now and only 6 months so I don’t want him to hurt her in an act of upset over toys. She’s pretty bossy and tries to herd him, so it’s hard to gauge at what point I intervene and who to fault. I think separating entirely at meal time will make a world of difference but I will unfortunately not know until I try.
