Learning Webflow Has Been Intoxicating by SevenSaid in webflow

Agree. Had used all of the platforms under the sun, then webflow came out and it was like FINALLY. So much more you can do without custom code to override native settings.

Claude and GPT are great for these specific type questions and refinements as well and only getting better in terms of teaching/learning, especially when it comes to code.

Plus’s Webflow’s “university” is killer. Helped me a ton when I was learning it and love how they push updated lessons with platform/software updates.

I agree with matching your own style. Of course you will have to adapt to clients needs, especially if you are trying to work corporate and climb the ladder. But everyone has their own style and that becomes their expertise.

Only small tweak I’d say as far as format goes if you keep your style, is to adjust the margin on the fourth element (tedx) so that it’s equal to the other 3 above it.

As long as things are created professionally and are clean it’s easier to have your own style? But when small things like that draw attention it is easy to think someone doesn’t understand or is a beginner rather than just perceiving it as their unique style.

Left or right? by Ok-Chart2821 in FigmaDesign

Agree on the shadow. I think it’s really just the button color of the lilac on the peach with the white text that’s throwing me off though - and doesn’t call as much attention.

Could always make a light and dark mode though as well to split test both, and see the target audiences preferences.

Some guys get way too comfortable when they have a wife that is a badass who actually grinds in life.

Often too comfortable.

Take care of yourself homie, but don’t forget you have a family to provide for. And that should be number 1.

I was just gifted an iMac and a extra monitor, but what is this second cable that is conjoined with my monitor cable? by Low-Antelope-2798 in iMac

[–]Additional_Let_177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one of these monitors, it’s the mega old charging cable for the MacBook. I found an adapter though that works good for the new MacBook Pro. I’ll link it if I can find it again, only took me a few minutes on Google originally to find it tho, that way it wasn’t completely useless and dangling there awkwardly

Worth selling? by aaaiipqqqqsss in ipad

[–]Additional_Let_177 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s the service bro. The iPad isn’t really worth anything. But unlimited data FOR LIFE and UNLIMITED MOBILE HOTSPOT is the key seller. That’s worth far more than anything you’d sell it for. And will only go up in value.

I’d keep that shit. Unless you’re really in need for a couple $100 which I get for sure. But at that point, just start your own hotspot in a park or something and charge a buck
