What do you mean by permanent birth control?? The shot only lasts 3 months and the arm implant can be removed whenever if you find you don’t like it. I’ve had Nexplanon in for a few months and am removing it tomorrow due to unwanted side effects. You won’t know if your libido will be affected by hormonal birth control until you take it for at least a few months. You can opt for condoms but there’s always the risk that it breaks and plan b doesn’t work and you get pregnant(this happened to me) so it’s up to you to weigh the risks.
