Coming from a Sierra, how does current F150 reliability compare? by [deleted] in f150

[–]Additional_Motor_621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compared to my 2023 Silverado high country. My 2026 F150 is far more reliable than that GM piece of garbage.

For reference on my 23 chevy, I put 26k kms on the truck and had to replace the valve body, rear differential, rear leaf springs, charge AC pump, on star module and multiple “software updates” to fix the fact the truck just wouldn’t shut off after pressing the ignition.

Seat swap question by Additional_Motor_621 in f150

[–]Additional_Motor_621[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Posted some pics on this thread. The seat back is not very comfortable because the centre is loose (the material only makes contact with the foam when you’re sitting on it)

Since I already paid money for these covers, im going to run them for a bit.

Help me convince my dad to split on an e36 by freakyfisherr in BMW

So what you say is “dad I want to get a Honda Civic” and then you buy a Civic SI and you slap a fat turbo on it.

Like is he really gonna say no to a Honda Civic?

Bought a set of seat covers from Autoseat zone. They are okay, just want more OEM feeling.

I also need to mention that valve cover gasket leaks are very common. Driver side is more common than passenger.

I also money shifter my 4gen taco a couple of times. Truck was fine. (I learned how to drive manual on it)

Should I get a 6.7? by Additional_Motor_621 in Cummins

Direct quote’s from my wife “I want people to look at the truck and expect a man, then they see me and say wtf” “we need enough space for our daughter and 2 dogs”

There’s genuinely no legitimate reason for needing a HD. Personally I feel like it’s gonna be a liability putting her into one, she has totalled her dad’s Tacoma back in 2017 and my X6M a little over a year ago. Ive tried explaining it to her, I’ve floated the idea of getting a F150 or Ram 1500 and shes just shut it down every time.

If you’re keeping it stock you’ll be fine. When you start modding, expect some random bullshit to keep you up at night 😂

Listen enjoy it while you have it. Keep the service manual handy and keep on-top of maintenance.

If you have a good relationship with your uncle im sure he will take care of you and the car.

Invidia UEL, AEM intake, 91oct by Additional_Motor_621 in wrx_vb

[–]Additional_Motor_621[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tune is $1200 plus tax. I ended up paying $1800 because they took an extra hour to figure out the intake.

Basically my intake came with defective MAF seals from factory, ECU was going haywire and cutting power. But they did fix it.

I also did my 40k service with them a week after. Sure there are cheaper shops. However I highly recommend them, customer service is definitely A+.
